We hear everyday that we must stay strong, we must keep the faith and never give up. We know that through the tests in life we have encountered, some of our challenges have been heart wrenching; and yet we are still here. We have the inner strength to jump over hurdles, but sometimes we allow the minds and views of others to make us doubt ourselves.
I think about back in the day and all of those slaves or the ordeal they endured; their were some that knew the treatment just wasn't right and they thought of ways to fight against their current situation. People like Harriet Tubman, Nat Turner, Crispus Attacks, Harriet Beecher Stowe and George Washington Carver all had a belief that they deserved more and better and they all went about achieving change in different ways; but yet they knew that something just wasn't right.
We all have the gut feeling when we are being wronged, whether at home, on the job or in public. Sometimes as people we need to take a stand against injustice and make a difference. There are so many haters in the world and people that just want you to fail, but you cannot allow them to steal your glory.
Yes, there will be times that you fail and there will be people with blowhorns happy for your fall, but you have to rise up against their boos and know that you are a child of God, you will succeed. There is no man that can take you down. Stop allowing the views of others to dictate and control your destiny. A star will always shine no matter how much camaflouge is trying to cover it.
If you do not believe in yourself nobody else will. I personally know what it is like to fail and I know how great it is to succeed. I have been ridiculed, laughed at, talked about and my heart has been pounced on; but if I allow them to win, I am a failure. We cannot allow outside people who are non significant factors to cloud our path. Yes, we may all fall down for the count, but our round will come again and the clock will start over. The battle is not over until we believe it's over. You be the soldier in your battle and do not allow the enemies or outside factors to dictate your journey or path in life.
People only have power over you when you give it to them. Don't give up your power, not even when they try to take it. Never give up, for if you give up, you are doubting yourself and you are doubting God. This will just be another hurdle to jump over. Remember the feeling and taste of success and never allow that taste to leave your mouth. For we are all unique and we were placed here for a reason. You have to believe in your worth and know that we all have blessings to share with the world. If you believe, you will achieve.
