Afraid to Love

One of the most beautiful things in this world is to find true love. When you are in love with someone you really do not want the beautiful feelings to end. You feel like you are walking on clouds barefoot and everyone is about love. The pain comes when things are no longer meshing the way that you want, and the love begins to fade. You try to hold on for dear life in hopes that everything will eventually work out, and when it doesn't we are devastated. We experience all sorts of thoughts, we think about revenge and suicide. We want to get that person back for breaking our hearts and we experience so much pain that we want to take our own lives. You can get through, the feelings will change and the pain will subside. You have to know that this is only temporary, as anything in life. Never be afraid to love, because love is truly a learning experience and in order to experience you must take the ride. Never be afraid to ride the train of love, no matter where it may take you.

Holding ON

Beaten Down

If you are in a relationship and you are not happy, ask yourself why?
1. Does your mate humiliate you?
2. Do you fear going home?
3. Do you wish that you could go somewhere else other than home?
4. Do you sometimes cry yourself to sleep?
When you are not happy with yourself, you cannot be happy in a relationship. If someone is hurting you, it doesn't have to be physical to break you down, it can be verbally.

The most difficult task and yet the easiest we have as people in life is to love ourselves, if we cannot do that for ourselves, how can we demand and request that from others.

Stop allowing the issues of others to dictate your happiness or your future. Stop allowing other people to determine when and how you smile.

Today is not a guarantee, nevertheless tomorrow, so enjoy who you are today, no matter what challenges and injustices guide your path, say no to unhappiness. Enjoy the small joys in life.

Think about your relationship and your sanity and ask yourself, Why? Why am I here? Why should I stay? And how can I make things better?

Stop Blaming Others

I am about to scream, why do people blame other people for their misery and unhappiness.

Stop it, we tend to allow other people to control our lives and dictate our happiness. There are people placed in this world to make us unhappy, point and fact. Where there is good, there is evil, and where there is happiness, there is misery.

Now the true strength comes from how we deal with these people. I remember someone was trying to push my buttons, I mean really hit me hard with low blows; and I eventually started laughing out with every insult they gave me. They got so pissed off, I mean they just turned red with anger. I regained control over my life and the situation; and now I make it a plan and practice to never allow people to have tear down power. As long as we allow people to know our weaknesses, they will utilize it to their advantage.

I know that it is easier said than done, but we have to try for our own sanity and happiness.

My father always use to say, once you know your people your job is done. Well, know your audience, know your haters and most important know yourself.
